Wow! That egg looks like a sausage. Yesterday Charlie brought one of his chicken’s eggs in because it’s not the same as the other eggs because, it is a oval shaped egg. It’s a small brown egg that a Red Shaver has laid but it doesn’t look like a Red Shaver’s egg because, the shape doesn’t look right. It has a few dark black spots and it’s a very,very brown colour. It was one of the weirdest eggs we had seen. It looks like a rugby ball.
Last night Charlie cracked open the egg and this is what it looked like. We discussed why the chicken may have laid an egg like this.
